PCSD will be closed tomorrow, January 10, due to safety concerns related to the forecasted winter storm. This closure includes the cancellation of all scheduled events, and all campuses will remain closed throughout the day. Please stay informed and prioritize safety during this time.
The Literacy-Based Promotion Act (LBPA) was created to support young students in mastering reading skills, so by the time they finish 3rd grade, they can read at or above grade level. This law emphasizes the importance of literacy for students in Kindergarten through 3rd grade, setting clear goals for schools and districts to help students thrive in their educational journey. Below, we break down the recent results for the Pontotoc City School District, so parents can understand how 3rd graders are progressing in reading and math.
